Year 1

We have all been very busy this term, doing lots of reading and writing, numeracy and science, art and ICT, ....etc,etc,etc! We are lucky to have two teachers in our class at the minute - and have worked so hard that we have made them very proud!

Some of the other exciting things we have done recently have included learning about where minibeasts live, and other creatures. We took part in the Birdwatch, and a man from YPPS came in to talk to us.

 

 

We have been able to do lots of art, drama, music, history, maths, geography, PE, science, technology, ICT, RE, and of course English, all linked to our topic! It has been very exciting.

Year 1 have carried out a traffic survey of Hendal Lane and explored the different habitats around school as part of our science.

    We went on a visit to Wakefield Museum with Year 2 - It was brilliant learning about Victorian Schools!
