Year 2

Year 2 have been learning about life cycles of frogs and butterflies. We have been sketching minibeasts and creating our own minibeast poems.

 

 

 

 

We have been able to do lots of art, drama, music, history, maths, geography, PE, science, technology, ICT, RE, and of course English, all linked to our topic of our school and the environment! It has been very exciting.

 We had a talk about habitats, which linked very well to our joint Year1 and 2 topic of around our school, and the local area.

 

  We loved it when the Road Safety people came in to work with us. We thought the dressing up and role play were great fun! It was a fantastic way of learning safety on the roads.
