Year 4

 Year 4 are studying London as part of our creative curriculum. We are working alongside Year 3. We are linking different aspects of the curriculum together.

We are doing lots of Geography work - where in the world is London?! We have talked about how the city developed, and the history of some of the buildings.

We have used the internet and Google earth to find information about London. We have watched videos showing panoramic and aerial views of the famous landmarks.

We are doing a skyline of London using a variety of techniques, and also making models which we are going to light up! What a fantastic link with our science!

John Dudley, a rugby league coach, is working with us for five weeks. We are going to enter a rugby festival, and hope that we can improve our skills so that Wakefield Wildcats talent scouts will be knocking at our doors!!

In Literacy , we have written poems about Flat Stanley visiting London and made leaflets advertising Flat Stanley bus tours.
